Yu Ling is a Naval Architect with over 12 years’ experience working on a range of offshore projects and wreck removal operations. Her technical experience ranges from operations management, provision of marine warranty services, marine casualty investigation, salvage consultancy including review of methodologies and on-site supervision, engineering design and FEED studies.

She has attended wreck removal operations as the onsite Naval Architect and performed vessel surveys on contact-damage investigations.
Yu Ling has experience in feasibility studies for hydrodynamics aspects on mooring analysis, wind farm installation methodology, heavy transportations using self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT) and towing operations. Her technical experience ranges from concept and basic ship design to detailed engineering on various vessel types, ship-building survey inspections and sea trials.
She has worked on Oil and Gas marine warranty projects with jackets, topsides and FPSO modules, undertaking calculation and document reviews involving various operations including stability calculations, heavy lift, towages, loadouts and offshore installation procedures. Yu Ling has attended MWS lifting operations. She has also worked as project engineer in Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
