Li is a Naval Architect and Structural Engineer with over 15 years’ experience working in marine and offshore engineering projects. He has worked as Lead Engineer on engineering design and EPCI projects operating in the North Sea, West Africa, South-East Asia, Australia, and Brazil.

He has detailed knowledge of Floating offshore Units involving global analysis (including strength buckling and spectral fatigue), local structure analysis, hydrodynamic analysis, intact and damage stability analysis, and mooring analysis.

Li also has detailed experience of Heavy-lift engineering, rigging, ballasting operations, fixed and floating offshore units/platforms, FPSO topside modules, structural engineering design and analyses.

For installation, transportation, salvage and wreck removal projects, he has performed office-based naval architecture design and investigation including hydrostatic stability, hydrodynamic multibody motions analysis, mooring design and structural assessment. He has reviewed procedures and calculations, and attended risk assessment meetings as Naval Architect and MWS.
