Diederic is a Master Mariner with more than 20 years-experience as ship-manager in ship-management organisations focused on commercial and operational management of dry cargo vessels, tankers, and offshore vessels.

He has 10 years seagoing experience both as master and officer ranks on tankers, container vessels, dry bulk carriers, dredgers, offshore survey vessels, semi submersibles and superyachts. He has also sailed on chemical tankers, offshore survey vessels, trailer suction hopper dredgers and dry cargo and container vessels.
He has worked as superintendent and director in ship management organisations for 25 years after coming ashore and has experience in vessels and MWS inspections and is an associate member of the society of marine warranty surveyors.
Diederic’s marine warranty experience includes top-side installations, towage approvals, shore-pull-in operations, supply and heavy-lift vessels, anchor handling tugs and cable lay vessels. He also has experience in the load-out of monopiles and topsides, cable trenching, cable pull-in and horizontal direct drilling in conjunction with the pull-in of HDPE ducts.
He has worked with insurance brokers, P&I Clubs, IACS classification societies and flag state authorities undertaking technical risk assessments, structural class surveys, cargo condition and loading surveys.
Diederic also holds valid offshore medical and safety certification.
