Brian is a maritime civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the design and construction management of marine and infrastructure projects. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (Structural Engineering).

His experience includes 10 years working within EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Project Management) teams covering the full range of project stages, including early feasibility studies, detailed design, construction management and project close out. He has worked on projects in Australia, Singapore, Fiji, PNG, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, The Maldives, UAE, Oman, Taiwan and China. This project experience covers marine terminals involving reclamation works, wharves and jetties, dolphins and fendering, and bridges.

Based in Singapore, Brian has extensive experience working on Fixed & Floating Object (FFO) damage cases within the South-East Asia region often involving travel to remote ports and terminals. Brian regularly attends on site immediately after an incident to assess the damage, advise on temporary repairs, monitor operations and assist in the resolutions of claims. He provides expert opinion to P&I Clubs, lawyers, shipowners, terminal operators and other insurance interests and has provided written and verbal evidence in court and arbitration proceedings.
