WAVES GROUP WELCOMES CAPTAIN STANISLAV IVANOV AS VICE PRESIDENT OF THE HOUSTON OFFICE
Waves Group are pleased to announce the appointment of Captain Stanislav Ivanov as Vice President of the Houston office. As one of the lead Consultant Master Mariners in Waves Group, Stanislav is a recognised expert within the casualty, insurance, shipping and offshore energy industries. He will be responsible for the coordination and development of operations in the Americas.
His portfolio includes the investigation of marine casualties, client’s representative on salvage and wreck removals projects, and providing expert opinion on charter party disputes and cargo claims. In his role as a Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS), he has been involved in the installation of Offshore Wind Farms and Sub-Sea Tidal Energy Projects in the European area and the decommissioning of a major platform. He is also an Approved Nautical Inspector by the Bahamas Maritime Authority.
With a Class 1 Master Mariner certification and an impressive 28 years in the shipping industry, Stanislav’s expertise encompasses a wide spectrum, notably in the investigation of major marine incidents, including container vessel stow collapses, cargo losses, collisions, groundings and fires, significantly strengthening our rapid emergency response capabilities across the Americas.
As our Houston office enters its third year, Stanislav’s arrival reinforces our commitment to enhancing our services for both shipping and offshore energy clients in the Americas. This strategic move reflects our dedication to continual growth and customer-focused solutions in three time zones.
