Waves Group joins Asia Wind Energy Association networking event in Singapore
Our Singapore team attended the final Asia Wind Energy Association (AWEA) networking event of 2025, which included an insightful introduction from Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), alongside early Season’s Greetings shared across the regional offshore wind community.
A key theme from the discussions was clear: Asia’s offshore wind sector holds significant long-term opportunity, even as developers and technology leaders continue to navigate real-world challenges.
Across Taiwan, Korea and Japan, the industry is responding to evolving regulatory frameworks, supply chain constraints and complex environmental conditions. Despite this, momentum continues to build, supported by ongoing investment, innovation and the growing capability of regional supply chains.
Events like AWEA’s networking sessions highlight the value of regional collaboration as APAC moves into the next phase of offshore wind development. We are proud to be part of these conversations and to support the continued growth of offshore wind across Asia.
